The Fuel Cycle and Materials Administration
Introduction
The Fuel Cycle and Materials Administration (FCMA), a subsidiary organization
under the Atomic Energy Council (AEC), is responsible for planning, supervising
and regulating the treatment, storage, transport and disposal of radioactive
waste and the import, export, storage and transfer of nuclear source materials.
On the FCMA web site information is available on Radwaste Regulation,
Regulatory Guides and Standard Review Plan, Annual and Monthly LLRW Production

of Small Producers. There is also information on waste treatment in the
Volume Reduction Center, LLRW storage at the Lan-Yu Storage Site, and Spent
